Radfest 2024

Radfest is a community driven and funded festival in Radcliffe, 15 mins away from Nottingham City Centre. The aim and demand of this festival was targeted for the younger demographic including families as well. Each year Radfest’s popularity grows with bigger local bands wanting to take the stage! This years festival populated over 3,500 attendees that provided a brand new second stage for the capacity. I was lucky enough to be apart of this brilliant team as an Assistant Event Producer and one of three Stage Directors. The planning for this festival in July took over 6 months to plan with the team. My role also included band scouting, booking bands and promoting parts of the festival. For the festival, I had the contribution of booking ‘Set in Motion’, ‘Wizards Can’t Be Lawyers' and the headline ‘ACHB’. This festival was a brilliant hands on experience provided for the community of Nottingham, that has enhanced my abilities for future projects and events. Thank you to Debra, Ali and the rest of the Radfest team for the immersive experience that I can take further into my career.
